USCIS has extended the validity of Permanent Resident Cards (also known as Green Cards or “Green Cards”) for petitioners who properly file Form I-751 or Form I-829 for 48 months from the expiration date.
Human Resources and employers have certain responsibilities in the application, disclosure of information, and the option to use paid time off before disability and family leave when an employee wants to use the New Jersey Temporary Disability Insurance or Family Leave Insurance.
Most New Jersey employees now have the right to an earned sick leave; know who is covered by this law; the notice of employees’ rights; the accumulation and use of the Sick Leave; and the payment of the Sick Leave.
Employers must participate in these public insurance programs and deduct payroll taxes from employees who work in New Jersey, or provide a private insurance plan. If you would like information about private insurance plans, contact your employer to learn more about your coverage and to obtain a license application.
Residents of New Jersey are encouraged to take the necessary precautions to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy throughout the winter. Respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), are currently circulating throughout the state.
