Citizenship classes are part of the IACO Training and Education program, which seeks to prepare immigrants living in New Jersey, especially those with limited English proficiency, for the knowledge tests and civic questions required for citizenship. The classes are taught in Spanish to facilitate learning and ensure that participants fully understand the content. In addition, guidance is provided on the rights and responsibilities that come with U.S. citizenship.
