UCSIS has closed the Biometric Processing Unit (BPU) in Alexandria, VA and is no longer accepting written requests to reschedule appointments at application support centers. You must call the USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283 (TTY 800-767-1833) to reschedule your appointment prior to your original appointment date and time and establish good cause for rescheduling.

You must call before the date and time of your original appointment and show that you have good cause to reschedule the appointment. If you do not follow these instructions and do not show up for your scheduled appointment, USCIS may consider the application or petition abandoned and, as a result, we may deny it.
