Below you will find an analysis of the Visa Bulletin issued by the State Department, which determines the availability of immigrant visas for the different categories of family and work petitions, as well as general information that will help you understand how it works.

While the Department of State published a Final Rule regarding increased processing fees for certain nonimmigrant visa applications, USCIS is soon to publish the final rule for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to adjust certain processing fees. applications for immigration and naturalization benefits Posted on January 3, 2023.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has removed the requirement that civilian physicians sign Form I-693, Medical Report and Immunization Record, no more than 60 days before an individual applies for an underlying immigration benefit, including Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. 

Under the law, they can use the leave to: care for your child if their school or daycare closes due to COVID-19 or another public health crisis; quarantine based on the recommendation of a medical professional or to receive a COVID-19 vaccine or attend conferences or events related to your child's education.

Temporary Disability benefits can partially replace your wages if you have to stop working due to a physical or mental health condition or other disability not related to your job, including pregnancy/childbirth or COVID-19.

Receive 85% of your average weekly salary when you have to stop working to: take care of your physical or mental health, or that of a loved one (including Covid19); take care of yourself during pregnancy recovery and childbirth; bonding with a new child or coping with domestic or sexual violence.

CBVI's Project BEST program works to save and restore sight whenever medically possible through follow-up services to people who need further vision evaluations or vision care services, who do not have health insurance and do not qualify for other state programs.
