Below you will find an analysis of the Visa Bulletin issued by the Department of State, which determines the availability of immigrant visas for the different categories of family and work-based applications, as well as general information to help you understand how it works.
Do you know that you are entitled to paid sick leave? Workers receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a limit of 40 hours per year, or your employer is allowed to offer a maximum of 40 hours at once.
Disability during unemployment combines the Temporary Disability and Unemployment Insurance programs and is applicable to individuals who are unable to work due to health reasons or pregnancy/delivery, and who have not had a recent job and/or are receiving Unemployment Insurance.
Do you need to be away from work for an extended period due to pregnancy, childbirth, illness/injury, or to care for a loved one? You may be eligible to receive paid family leave and/or temporary disability benefits. Most NJ workers are eligible for these benefits.
The New Jersey State Treasurer, Elizabeth Maher Muoio, and the Commissioner of Human Services, Sarah Adelman, announced that this will be mailed as a one-time benefit of $500 to eligible residents under the Personal Identification Number Taxpayer Assistance Program (ITIN) to individuals and families in New Jersey who meet income requirements and who were not eligible for federal stimulus payments and who file taxes using an ITIN.
