USCIS Offices Prepare to Reopen June 4

USCIS is in the process of preparing the offices to reopen on or after June 4.

 • While offices are temporarily closed, USCIS will continue in-person services in limited emergency situations. Please call the USCIS Contact Center for assistance with emergency services.

• Local USCIS offices will notify applicants and petitioners of scheduled naturalization appointments and ceremonies affected by the extended temporary closure.

• USCIS asylum offices will automatically send cancellation notices and reschedule asylum interviews. When an interview is rescheduled, asylum seekers will receive a new interview notification with a new time, date, and place of the interview.

• When USCIS resumes operations for in-person services, UCIS will automatically reschedule appointments at the ASC due to the temporary closure of the office. Individuals will receive a new Appointment Notice by mail.

• Individuals who had an InfoPass or other appointments should reschedule their appointment through the USCIS Contact Center when the offices reopen to the public. Please verify if the respective office has already been opened before calling the USCIS Contact Center.
