In commemoration of IACO's 25th anniversary and in honor of the memory of its co-founder, the Board of Directors has created the Mabel Ramírez Honorary Scholarship. This distinction highlights the legacy of inclusion and education of Professor Mabel Ramírez, who passed away last May. The scholarship, awarded by the Board of Directors, provides support to immigrant students at PCCC, thus perpetuating Mabel's passion for teaching and her lasting impact on the community.

We invite all students who are registered in the PCCC and born outside the United States to take advantage of this opportunity to advance your education with the support and backing of IACO.

The scholarships awarded will be for a minimum value of $1,500 dollars.

• Deadline to complete applications: By 11:59pm ET September 27, 2024
• IACO notifies selected students: October 4, 2024
• Awards Ceremony*: Selected scholarship recipients MUST attend the Awards Ceremony on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Family members of selected students are also cordially invited to the celebration.
