HomeFront programs provide emergency shelter and transitional housing. HomeFront works with single mothers, single fathers, and families with a history of domestic violence, child abuse, drug abuse, and intergenerational wellness. The UWGUC has established a COVID19 Emergency Fund to assist Union County residents financially affected by the outbreak. The fund will help families who are out of work or working fewer hours due to government-mandated business and school closures; that do not have benefits or resources to weather the crisis; who have incurred debt related to COVID19 (i.e. childcare expenses because schools are closed); They are low-income, hourly wage earners, individuals without employer benefits, such as paid time off. 908-353-7171.
