Form I-730 USCIS Returns to Previous Criteria for Interviewing Refugee and Asylee Referral Families | |

USCIS has rescinded a November 2020 policy memorandum that required interviewing all petitioners filing the Form I-730, Refugee / Asylee Relative Petition. Effective immediately, USCIS will revert to its long-established past practice of making case-by-case determinations about whether to interview Form I-730 petitioners. |
USCIS Temporarily Lifts the 60-Day Rule for Form I-693 Medical Examination Report and Immunization Record | |

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has temporarily waived the requirement that civilian physicians sign Form I-693, Medical Examination Report and Immunization Record, no more than 60 days before the applicant submits a form for the underlying immigration benefit (including Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), through September 30, 2022. |
