Access to COVID-19 Vaccines: A Guide to Resources and Assistance for Eligible Individuals

For information on the availability and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, please use the following resources:

Vaccine Location Near You:

  • Search vaccines.gov, text your zip code to 438829, or call 1-800-232-0233.

Schedule Appointment:

  • Contact your regular vaccine provider, such as your healthcare provider, pharmacist, or community health center.
  • Check online scheduling services provided by the vaccine provider. Some locations may accept walk-ins.

State Events:

  • New Jersey holds pop-up vaccination events, mobile clinics and other activities. No appointment needed. Find information here.

People Over 65 Years:

  • Call the special senior line at 855-429-1168 for dedicated appointment slots.
  • Line hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (closed on Saturdays and Sundays).

Home Vaccination for People with Reduced Mobility:

  • Request vaccination at home by completing the form at English o Spanish.
  • For assistance, call the New Jersey COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 1-855-568-0545.

Transportation to Vaccination Appointments:

  • Medicaid members can schedule transportation by calling Modivcare at 1-866-527-9933 (at least 48 hours before the appointment). It is necessary to mention that the transportation is for vaccination.

Free Vaccines for Eligible People:

  • For those 18 and under (Medicaid eligible, uninsured, underinsured, or Alaska Native/American Indian), click here.
  • For adults without health insurance or whose insurance does not cover all vaccine costs, the Bridge Access Program can help through December 31, 2024. For more information, click here.
