USCIS Offices Prepare to Reopen June 4

  • News

On March 18, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily suspended in-person services at its local offices, asylum offices and Application Assistance Centers (ASC), to help curb the spread. coronavirus (COVID-19). USCIS is preparing to reopen offices based on state and local orders, on or after June 4.

Employees in these offices will continue to perform essential mission services that do not require in-person contact with the public while the offices are temporarily closed. In the meantime, individuals can submit applications and petitions to USCIS. Filing online remains the most convenient and interactive way to submit forms, check the status of your case, and receive notifications.
